For the last year, if you wanted to know what YASS actually was, you had two options: read the description on our Fourthwall store page, or dig through a 100-plus reply Chief Delphi thread. Neither is a great way to figure out whether you should install YAGSL on your robot.
So we built a real site. yassrobotics.com now has:
- A rundown of every project we maintain (YAGSL, YAMS, YAMG, YALL) with links straight to docs and source
- A page for our founding and partner teams, with the actual quotes they gave us about running YASS in competition
- This blog, which we’re backfilling with the real progress updates from our Chief Delphi announcement thread, so the history of what shipped when isn’t buried in forum replies anymore
- A merch link that actually takes you to the store instead of us trying to reinvent checkout
Merch is still sold through Fourthwall. We’re not building our own storefront, we’re just giving it a front door that isn’t a bare Fourthwall subdomain. Buying a shirt still supports the same thing it always did: time spent building and documenting these libraries.
Everything else, the code, the Discord, the way we answer questions, none of that changes. This is just the site finally catching up to what YASS already was.
